Downtown on foot	Compact and walkable around Plaza 9 de Julio.
To Cafayate	A rental car or organised tour, roughly 183 km, often combined with wine tasting.
To Humahuaca or Salinas Grandes	A rental car or organised tour; both are long but well-travelled routes.
To San Antonio de los Cobres	The farthest and highest of the four — typically a full-day organised tour or the scenic train route.
